Russia is ready to negotiate possible supplies of Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets to Turkey. Sergei Chemezov, the chief of Rostekh company said so as quoted by Interfax.
"If our Russian colleagues show some will, we're ready to work on supplies of Su-35", he stated.
Recently, the U.S. decided to punish Turkey after purchasing of the Russian S-400 missile defense system and excluded it from the F-35 fighter jet program as DW reported. "Unfortunately, Turkey's decision to purchase Russian S-400 air defense systems render its continued involvement with the F-35 impossible," White House Spokesperson Stephanie Grisham said. She added that the U.S. program cannot be used at the same time with the Russian intelligence collection platform.
