Russian Investigation Committee opened two cases against Ukrainian military for alleged shootings at the Armed Forces side in Donbas zone, as the website of the Russian body reported.
It was noted that the Russian Investigation Committee opened two criminal proceedings under the articles of Russian Criminal Code on mistreatment of the civilians, the appliance of means banned by Russia’s international treaty in the armed conflict.
According to the Russian investigation, on September 30, 2018, the Ukrainian military has allegedly attacked at the object of civilian infrastructure from artillery and heavy weaponry in Staromykhaylivka. A local resident was injured as a result.
It was noted that the Ukrainian military is accused of “sniper attack” on October 6, 2018, in Trudivske, after what a local resident got wounded.
Russian Investigation Committee was initiating criminal cases on alleged crimes committed in Ukraine within several years.
Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Office reported dozens of such cases. The Committee accused the Armed Forces of “conducting war against civilians.”
