Russia implemented the obligatory norm that provides the registration of the foreigners arriving on the territories of Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi from June 1 until July 12 during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. The Directorate General for consular service of Ukraine reported this at Facebook

According to the department, by rule, it is necessary to register during the 24 hours after arrival.

This norm will also function during the holding of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The citizens of Ukraine who plan to visit Russian cities Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Saransk and Sochi in this period of time and since May 25 until July 25, 2018 should register during the 24 hours from the moment of the arrival at the relevant local establishments of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
