Russia halted the development of railroad mobile missile systems of the new generation, Rosiyskaya gazeta found out from their source in the Russian defence industry.

For the foreseeable future, the project has been halted. The railroad mobile missile systems were to consist of the arms for return fire, as they are durable and likely to live through being attacked first.
The media notes that at first the systems were being supplied with missiles manufactured in Dnipro, Ukraine. When the Russian aggression against Ukraine started, Kyiv forbade the company to send the missiles to Russia, so Moscow planned to use the missiles of their own production.
