Russia extends sanctions against EU, Ukraine until late 2018

The Russian Cabinet continued restrictive trade measures against EU countries and Ukraine – in response to their sanctions. The Russian sanctions will remain effective at least until the end of 2018, reads the document published on the government’s website.  

The ban on imports to Russia concerns the following countries: the USA, Canada, the EU member countries, Australia, Norway, Ukraine, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

Previously, the EU continued sector sanctions against the Russian Federation until January 31, 2018.
