The implementation of the preliminary register for Russians is the step in the wrong direction. The State Secretary and the Deputy of the Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin claimed as TASS reported.

‘We carefully examine the new developments of the Ukrainian authorities and the degree of their correspondence with the existing interstate agreements between these two countries. And only after that, we will see how we should react on this’, he said.

Moreover, he emphasized that these steps can lead in the wrong direction and hurt the human dimension of our relations’.

On July 10, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine made the decision about the implementation of the biometric control for the foreigners who are going to enter Ukraine and the implementation of e-system of the preliminary register for Russian citizens who intend to enter Ukraine since January 1, 2018.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin claimed that the implementation of the biometric control for foreigners will not influence the citizens of the European Union
