The draft law about reintegration of Donbas may be viewed as a demonstrative act of defiance against Europe, as it contradicts Minsk agreements. Irina Yarovaya, Deputy Speaker of Russia’s State Duma said that as quoted by TASS news agency.

According to her, having approved this document, Kyiv could refuse to adhere to Minsk agreements, so there should be an adequate response of European politicians to this.

‘Abiding by Minsk agreements is Poroshenko’s obligation before Europe. But the president of Ukraine is not going to fulfill these commitments. He is about to commit crimes, impudently grinning to Europe,’ she said.

The Vice Speaker of the Russian parliament added that by approving the draft law, Ukraine will ‘legalize military operations against peaceful civilians of Donbas.’

Earlier this week, two draft laws were submitted in the Parliament – ‘On re-integration of Donbas’ and ‘On extension of special order of local government in the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions’. The latter was included in the agenda of the Ukrainian parliament during its Thursday session.
