A rally against Russian aggression in Eastern Ukraine took place near the Russian Embassy in Kyiv. The protesters put symbolic cardboard coffins near the building, as Ukrinform reports.
“Several dozen protesters brought symbolic cardboard coffins with a sign “Cargo 200. Wagner PMC”. These “coffins” are attached to the gates of the Embassy. The coffins are set in a way they make a word “ihtamnet” (Russian neologism, which appeared as Russia is constantly refusing its military presence in Hybrid wars, in particular during the annexation of Crimea and war in the Eastern Ukraine, - ed.),” the message says.
Besides, it is added that the protesters attached the pictures with the surnames of Wagner PMC mercenaries.
As it is noted, the rally is dedicated to the start of the FIFA World Cup final, which is to take place on June 14 in Russia.
As it is known, Russia denies its involvement in the battle actions in Ukraine. However, Ukrainian special service are documenting the presence of Russian military in Donbas.
There is also evidence that people from the so-called Wagner Group are fighting in eastern Ukraine. For example, recently the Security Service of Ukraine made public the records of the phone conversations of one of the leaders of PMC Wagner. The record has a conversation about the evacuation of Russian military equipment and elimination of Ukrainian army near Debaltseve.
