The nuclear cloud could occur at the South of Ural due to the accidental release of the radioactive isotope ruthenium-106 at ‘Mayak’ Enterprise in Chelyabinsk region, Russia as the press service of Greenpeace Russia reported.

It is stated that the accidental release ruthenium-106 can be connected with the verification of the nuclear waste.

Also, the stuff that contained ruthenium-106 could get in the remelting furnace.

Greenpeace appealed to the Russian authorities with the demand to investigate the possible incident that led to the leak of the radioactive isotope in the air.

‘Mayak’ Enterprise is one of the largest centers on the refining of the radioactive stuff in Russia.

Earlier it was reported that the French scientists spotted nuclear cloud over Europe.  According to the research of the IRSN based on the weather patterns, the cloud originated from the nuclear facility situated between the Urals Mountains and the Volga River so it can be in Russia.
