The presidential United Russia Party has received the majority of the votes at the elections to the State Duma of Russia as the Central Election Committee of Russia reported after the procession of 100% of protocols.
Particularly, 49.82% of voters supported United Russia. It means that the political force will have the constitutional majority in the State Duma: it receives 300 seats. the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is at second place with 18.93% votes; then, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia with 7.55% of votes and A Just Russia — Patriots — For Truth with 7.46%.
Besides, the New People Party will be presented at the State Duma as it received 5.32% of the votes.
The elections to the bodies of power, as well as to the State Duma, took place in Russia on September 17, 18, and 19. The voting was also held in occupied Crimea. The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine called the elections in Crimea to be a violation of international law and promised to assume measures.
Soon, chairman of the HRC commission on international cooperation in the field of human rights Kirill Vyshinsky stated that over 150,000 residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions took part in the elections to the State Duma of Russia.
