The meeting of Presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden this year in one format or another is quite real. Press secretary of the head of the Russian state Dmitry Peskov declared that according to RIA News.
"I repeat once again that during Ushakov's recent meeting with Nuland, various options were discussed, and certain understandings were reached. After they are specified in formats and terms, we will give you an update," Peskov said.
Commenting on the possibility of a meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States this year, Peskov said: "Well, in one format or another, it is quite real. We will inform you."
But the exact date has not yet been named in the Kremlin.
As it was reported earlier, Victoria Nuland, Under the Secretary of the US Department of State for European and Eurasian Affairs paid a three-day visit to Russia, where she held a number of meetings and discussed issues that are topical for the two states and the world.
It should be noted that several Russians have been removed from the US sanction lists in exchange for Russia's consent to receive US Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in Moscow.
