On the occupied peninsula, Putin watched the launches of 'Caliber' cruise missiles from the Marshal Ustinov missile cruiser, potentially capable of carrying nuclear warheads, and the new dagger hypersonic missiles.

The cruiser Marshal Ustinov is part of the Northern Fleet and is based in Severomorsk in northern Russia. He entered the Black Sea as part of a series of exercises.

As we reported earlier, Romanian Prime Minister Ludovic Orban noted the deterioration of the situation in the Black Sea due to Russia's build-up of military presence in the region.
