A spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with RBK that the price that Russians need to pay for the Crimea is feasible and should not be exaggerated.

The behavior of a number of countries in Europe and the United States, which imposed sanctions after annexation, according to Peskov, became the source of many difficulties in the Russian economy.

"These difficulties, this is the price, probably, which we all really have to pay for ... This is not a victory, you see, what happened to Crimea. This is the historic turn, it's probably the salvation of a people. The reunification of the people with their country, and for that we pay the price, is this price big? I will say, it is quite feasible for the Russian Federation. Is it worth exaggerating the size of this price? " asked a rhetorical question the press secretary and replied that, from his point of view, it would be absurd.
