Moscow police cleared the Manezhnaya Square in Moscow, Russia, where dozens of activists gathered in order to stay near the Kremlin for the whole night, as Meduza informs, sourcing the protesters.

In Particular, one of the protesters said the police used force, and acted very rough. There’s no information as to the detained there.

Another Russian media reports that 290 people were detained overall in 26 cities of Russia, while many of them have already been released.

As we reported earlier, protests were held in Russia yesterday demanding that the Russian authorities let the opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, take part in the next presidential election.
