The Kremlin confirms information that the member countries of the Normandy Four are negotiating on the meeting on the level of foreign ministers. However, there is no certain date for this event yet. Dmitriy Peskov, the press secretary of Russian leader Vladimir Putin said so as quoted by RIA Novosti.
"During the telephone conversations among Putin, Macron and Merkel, the sides repeatedly underlined the necessity to boost the work and to hold the meeting on the level of Foreign Ministers. And all sides basically agree with it", Peskov said.
Earlier, Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak stated that one of the main topics of the meeting between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the President of Russia Volodymyr Putin may be the analysis of the implementation of the agreements of the Normandy Four.
Besides, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky proposed to expand the Normandy format to seven countries. He wants the United States, Canada, and Britain to take part in the talks.
