Netherlands Ambassador urges Russia to suspend cyber attacks

This is connected with Russia's attempt to access data of the international investigation of MH17 tragedy

Regina Veronica Maria "Renée" Jones-Bos, the Netherlands Ambassador to Russia, during her visit to Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that the Netherlands did not intend to let cyber attacks at the international organizations located in the country, as DW reports.

“According to the Ambassador, at the meeting in Russian Foreign Ministry, she explained that the Netherlands is responsible for the international organizations on its territory and it will prevent cyber attacks targeted at the organizations,” the message says.

Russian called this statement “a disinformation campaign made in the Hague”.

Earlier, the Netherlands accused Russia of trying to carry out a cyber attack at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to access data of the international investigation of MH17 tragedy.
