Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny posted his first photo on social media after being poisoned with the Novichok nerve agent. The photo appeared in Navalny's Instagram.
Alexei poses with his wife Julia, daughter Darina, and son Zakha. The photo was shared for the first time after coma when Navalny was able to breathe on his own, without assistance.
"I still can do almost nothing, but yesterday I was able to breathe all day by myself. In general, I didn't use any help, even the simplest valve in my throat," the opposition politician signed the photo.
As reported earlier, on August 20 Alexei Navalny felt bad during flight, and the plane made an emergency landing. The Russian politician was hospitalized in serious condition. Doctors have previously diagnosed "acute poisoning with an unidentified psychodysleptic."
On August 21, Omsk doctors allowed the politician to be hospitalized in Germany. He is now in a German hospital. On September 7, Aleksei Navalny's health improved. The patient's artificial coma stopped, and he was disconnected from the ventilator.
