Russian peacekeepers deployed their forces in Stepanakert, the capital city of Nagorno-Karabakh. TASS news agency reported that on November 13.

Major forces of the Russian peacekeeping batallion are now placing their surveillance posts.

According to the message, peacekeeping batallion of the 15th Detached Motorized Rifle Brigade entered Stepanakert at 5 p.m. November 12. 10 surveillance posts have been deployed along the contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh and Lachin corridor. 

As we reported, Russia and Turkey are setting up a joint center to monitor the ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The relevant memorandum was signed by Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu and his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar.

The joint Russian-Turkish center will be located in Azerbaijan. It will collect and verify information on compliance with the ceasefire, record violations through visual surveillance, unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, this body will consider complaints and issues related to breaches of agreements.
