The NATO's advance in Ukraine could make a trouble for Russia. The country's leader Vladimir Putin reported that during the annual Valdai forum. 

"The military reclamation of the territory of Ukraine is already underway; it creates a threat for Russia", he said.

Putin also commented on the visit of US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to Ukraine.

"The head of the Pentagon basically opens Ukraine's doors to the NATO, coming to Kyiv", the Russian president marked.

Earlier, he also said that the Russian Federation can increase the volume of gas supplies to Europe across Nord Stream 2. According to Putin, the German regulation authority can provide the respective license already tomorrow. If the German side comes up with the license, Russia could start launching 17.5 billion cubic meters. "The pipe is already filled with the gas. If the German regulator provides the license for supplies, the supply of 17.5 billion cubic meters starts the day after tomorrow", he said.
