Lithuania has published a new edition of the brochure on the Civil Defense with the recommendations on Russian invasion. 75-page brochure has a circulation of several thousand copies.
The new version of the booklet, published by the Ministry of National Defense, provides tips for survival in the wild. The authors warn that Russia will not fail to use force against its neighbors.
In addition, the publication describes the different types of Russian tanks, ammunition and mines. The brochure is distributed through youth organizations, in public places and on the Internet.
"The most important thing - that citizens should be ready and have the will to resist. When these elements are present, for the aggressor it's difficult to create an environment for military intervention.", - Stated in the brochure.
Its first edition was released in January 2015. During the presentation, Lithuanian Defense Minister Juozas Olekas said that the idea is to prepare the population for a potential war due to Russia's aggression in Ukraine and a possible attack on Lithuania.
