List of 10 victims of explosion at St Petersburg subway released

Bodies of another four deceased people will be identified later, - Russia’s Investigation Committee

Russia’s Investigation Committee released the list of victims who deceased in the terrorist attack at Sennaya Square subway station in Saint Petersburg. The list is available at the Committee’s website.

Another four victims still need to be identified; they cannot be identified visually, so forensics will run a genetic expertise.

The tragedy occurred on April 3, at 2.40 p.m., as the train reached Sennaya Square metro station (blue line) in Saint Petersburg. The explosion claimed lives of fourteen people and injured another 51. There were no Ukrainians among the victims, the country's Foreign Ministry said. 

Russia’s Investigation Committee confirmed that the blast was carried out by Akbarzhon Dzhalilov, the Russian citizen of Kyrgyz origin.
