Russia won’t solve the Donbas problem with new bombings. This is what Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said in a meeting with the Russian youth educational forum Theory of senses in Kliazma, as TASS reports.
“It’s in our interest to preserve this unique document – the Minsk agreements, which in fact ensure the rights of Donbas inhabitants. The alternative is war, and I think, no one here wants a war against Ukraine. With the new bombings, new shelling, we won’t solve this problem,” he said.
A journalist for UNIAN in Russia Roma Tsimbaliuk commented on these words on his Facebook page.
“It’s yet another admission that there were “old” bombings, admission that they “battered Ukraine” nightly, and continue doing this,“ he wrote.
