A spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that he was unaware of a conversation between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko that allegedly took place on April 30, 2015.
Peskov also added that he knew nothing about the authenticity of the recording of the conversation, which was made public by Ukrainian MP Andriy Derkach, Radio Sputnik reports.
Journalists asked the Kremlin spokesman if he could confirm the authenticity of the recording.
"First, we never comment on or disclose the details of our president's international talks with foreign counterparts, except for the information that we provide in press releases. Secondly, regarding the published recording, I do not know if such a conversation could have taken place and I cannot tell anything about this recording's authenticity," he told at a meeting with journalists, RIA Novosti informs.
As we reported earlier, yesterday, on June 9, Ukrainian MP Andriy Derkach released the third part of the records of the phone talks between former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and former Vice President of the U.S. Joe Biden.
