Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijarto claimed that the government procured the first batch of Sputnik-V, the Russian vaccine from Covid-19. Bloomberg reported that on November 20.

Thus, Hungary became the first European country to buy the Russian-made vaccine.

The worldwide situation with Covid-19 is going to get even worse in the future. Ahmed al-Mandari, the WHO Department Director for Eastern Mediterranean. EADaily reported that, quoting the official.

"The future period will be tough, and possibly more difficult than during the first nine months of pandemic of the new coronavirus. Creation of the new vaccine does not mean the end of pandemic", the official said.

He reiterated that as the winter comes, it does not affect the increasing number of infections. Only behaviour of people changes; they spend more time in closed spaces than they do in summer. And that improves the rate of the spread of infection.

Al-Mandari added that none of the four currently developed and tested vaccines have been approved yet.
