Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov called the demand of the EU to Russia to fulfill Minsk Agreement unsustainable, as TASS reported.
“We have the common interest in the normalization of relations of Russia and the European Union and we confirmed our readiness to go as far as the EU is ready. We have emphasized the futility of the position of Brussels toward the normalization of the relations with Russia only if Moscow will fulfill Minsk Agreements on the Ukrainian settlement,” Lavrov stated.
“The facts stay that the Minsk Agreements are diligently sabotaged by the Kyiv authorities,” he said.
As we reported Russia has summoned the UN Security Council due to the fourth anniversary of Minsk Agreements.
Earlier OSCE Special Representative in the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas Martin Sajdik stated that there is no alternative to the Minsk Agreements.
On January 28, Martin Sajdik provided a new plan of the peaceful settlement of Donbas Conflict. The close cooperation of the UN and OSCE under the unified leadership, the creation of Agency on Reconstruction, temporarily administration and amnesty entered the list of the plant.
