Ruslan Zeytulaev, imprisoned in Russia for alleged participation in a terrorist organization, is to be transferred from Rostov-on-Don to Bashkortostan, as Ukrainian Consulate in Rostov-on-Don informed on Facebook.

“Convicted in the Russian repressions against the Crimean Tatars in occupied Crimea political prisoner Ruslan Zeytulaev is to be even further from home. The Ukrainian is to be transferred from Rostov-on-Don to one of the penitentiary institutions in Bashkortostan.

As it was reported earlier, Russia didn't let Ukrainian consul visit the illegally detained, thus violating international obligations, as well as the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963 and the Consular Convention between Ukraine and the Russian Federation of 1993.
