So-called head of the annexed Crimea Sergey Aksyonov informed hereof on his page in Facebook.

He has explained this decision with the fact that this year May Day coincides with Easter holiday.

“Many of you will spend the night on the eve of May Day at Easter divine services in churches, a lot of people will celebrate the Easter en famille”, - Aksyonov remarked.

“Head” of the annexed peninsula has pronounced that there will be no official celebrations but the citizens can choose themselves where they celebrate the holiday.
