The online warning system for citizens will be launched, Russian PM says

The Russian government decided to shuit down the border traffic with Belaurs in the view of the spreading Chinese coronavirus. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said so as quoted by TASS news agency.

"We'll keep on doing everything to protect our country from this new threat, acting in advance, taking comprehensive measures to avoid, first of all, the massive spread of coronavirus", he claimed.

Mishustin added that the online warning system for citizens will be launched; it will feature regular updates on the situation with coronavirus. The Premier also charged the Federal Customs Service with creating a green corridor for the first necessity goods; he also insisted on lifting restrictions for the transport of trading networks in cities.

The head of the Russian government also asked the Parliament to pass the law on supplies of receipt-free medications that are ordered online.

Russia's restriction of railroad connection with Ukraine and Moldova will take effect on March 17. Previously, the Ukrainian Cabinet also imposed similar restriction that will last from March 17 till April 3.
