Militaries, serving in Chechnya, are being sent to Syria in order to participate in anti-terrorist operation. This was reported by TV Rain referring to the source close to the leadership of the Chechen Republic.

In particular, the source confirmed the authenticity of the video which appeared in social networks showing Khankala military base near Grozny. Soldiers speaking Chechen language can be seen on the footage, which are being blessed by the clergy to participate in the Syrian operations.

According to the interlocutor of TV "Rain", representatives of Russian internal troops are captured on the video.

As noted, the mufti of Chechnya Salah Mezhiev was among the military. He came to support those Chechens going to war.

TV Rain referring to an audio recording of the Mezhiev speech, recorded by one of the soldiers, published a speech of Mufti: "Kadyrov asked Putin to send him there, said he wants to go there to guard Muslims. I swear God, many people want to go there, starting with our governor.”

At the same time, Kadyrov's press secretary Alvi Karimov forwarded the question about sending Chechen to war in Syria to the Ministry of Defence. It was not possible to get a commentary from military department either.

In addition, information about sending of Chechen fighters to Syria was confirmed by the relative of one of the contractors. The latter informed that all militaries were told that in the coming days some of them would be sent to Syria.
