Channel One of Russia claims their journalist Anna Kurbatova was abducted in Kyiv, as the Russian media RIA News reports.

According to Life, she had been repeatedly threatened because of her covering the events in Ukraine. During her last trip to Kyiv, Anna Kurbatova covered the Independence Day celebration in Ukraine, including the military parade, in which NATO soldiers took part.

The last story by Kurbatova came out on August 29. Three days before that, she was included into the Myrotvorets database.

Myrotvorets (Ukrainian for "Peacemaker") is a Kyiv-based website that, as they put it, publishes information about the people "whose actions have signs of crimes against the national security of Ukraine, peace, human security, and the international law".

As it was reported earlier, two Spanish journalists were deported from Ukraine for spreading untrue information about the Ukrainian Amred Forces activity in the Donbas conflict zone.
