A criminal case on the preparation of terrorist attacks has been initiated against Wagner PMC soldiers detained in Belarus. This was reported by Meduza with reference to the Secretary of State of the Security Council of Belarus Andrei Ravkov.
It is reported that, in addition to the detainees, up to 200 more mercenaries remain in the territory of Belarus. They are wanted.
"According to operational information, 33 have been detained, up to 200 are in the territory (of Belarus, - 112 International)," Ravkov said.
As we reported earlier, on the night of July 29, Belarusian law enforcement officers apprehended 32 militants of a foreign private military company near Minsk.
That is why the Foreign Ministry of Belarus received instructions from President Alexander Lukashenko to invite the ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine in order to discuss the issue.
"At the meeting, the head of state set a number of tasks for elements of the national security system. The tasks include the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on sending inquiries and invitations to ambassadors of both the Russian Federation and Ukraine in order to receive clarifications and discuss specific issues," the statement said.
