The Antonov An-26 plane disappeared from radars in the Khabarovsk Krai of Russia. There were six people aboard, RIA-Novosti reports with reference to emergency services.

It is known that the missing plane belongs to the Russian company called “Flight inspections and systems”.

“The vehicle was performing a technical flight, checking the means of communication. A Russian aviation Mi-8 helicopter took off in search,” the statement reads.

At the same time, the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation reported that the search works were complicated by bad weather and dark time of the day. Most likely, these two factors were the cause of the emergency with the An-26.

Interfax sources report that the plane crashed in the Bolshekhekhtsirsky Nature Reserve near Khabarovsk.

A criminal case on violation of flight safety rules has already been initiated on the fact of the plane's disappearance.

As it was reported earlier, in summer, Russia's An-26 aircraft with 29 people aboard has broken communication over Kamchatka. All passengers and the crew died in the plane crash.
