Russian journalist Anna Kurbatova is to be deported from Ukraine, as press secretary of Ukraine’s Security Service (the SBU) Olena Hitlianska informed on Facebook.

“Ukraine is a state of law; its law enforcement bodies work solely according to the current legislation. At the moment the documents are being prepared to officially deport the journalist,” the press secretary of the SBU wrote.

“This will happen to everyone, who allows oneself to dishonor Ukraine,” Hitlianska added.

As it was reported earlier, Channel One of Russia claimed their journalist had been abducted in Kyiv.  During her last trip to Kyiv, Anna Kurbatova covered the Independence Day celebration in Ukraine.
