Seventeen people disappeared in the fire at the shopping and entertainment center in Kemerovo, Russian Federation, a source in the emergency services of the region told RIA Novosti.

"The fate of 35 people who disappeared during the fire remains unknown," said the agency's interlocutor.

We recall that a fire in the shopping and entertainment center in Kemerovo began on the afternoon of March 25. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire appeared on the fourth floor, where a cinema and children's playgrounds are located. A hundred visitors and employees of the complex were evacuated from the shopping center. According to preliminary data, as a result of the fire, 4 people died and 26 were injured.

It is also known that about 200 animals remained in the contact zoo on the third floor of the building and probably died.

More than 210 people and 48 units of equipment extinguished fire. A laboratory is being sent to the scene to measure the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances in the air.
