The visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States may take place in August, and not in July, as was expected after a telephone conversation between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States. This was reported by ZN.ua with reference to sources.
"Even after the first telephone conversation between the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak and Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in June, the parties coordinated the texts of their messages three times (remembering the embarrassment of the Office, which incorrectly conveyed the meaning of Zelensky's conversation with Biden on the website of the President of Ukraine and attributed to the head of the White House support for providing Ukraine with the MAP in NATO). During these agreements, according to sources, the American side deleted the word "July" from the Ukrainian message, which said that Yermak and Nuland discussed the upcoming visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States, "the message says.
Currently, Washington offers Kyiv to hold this visit at the end of August (but before Ukraine's Independence Day), which causes extreme displeasure on the Ukrainian side.
As reported, in June, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with President of the United States of America Joe Biden. It is noted that Zelensky accepted Joe Biden's invitation to visit the United States in July this year, which the American leader made during a telephone conversation.
