Ruslan Stefanchuk, the representative of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Verkhovna Rada offers to reduce the number of MPs, as LB.ua news agency reported.

“Today people discuss the number of the lawmakers: 450 is it a lot or little. There are European norms of the representation. When there were 52 million of Ukrainians this number was just enough; but if we will see after the population census that there are 30 million of people then why do we need 450 MPs?,” Stefanchuk said.

He is sure that the norms of the representation of the people in the parliament are violated so the number of lawmakers should be reconsidered.
