The press marathon with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky wrapped up at about midnight, October 11. It lasted for 14 hours; the head of the state answered 500 questions from 300 reporters. Zelensky himself posted that on Facebook.
"These were the main questions. I responded to all of them, although some things were not something that certain people wanted to hear. But it was frank and sincere", Zelensky said.
The reporters asked him questions about prospects of ending the conflict in Donbas, the meeting in the Normandy Format, teh Steinmeier formula, the media scandal between U.S. and Ukrainian leaders, the land reform in Ukraine, and many others.
Zelensky got several injections during the marathon to keep his voice in shape.
The press marathon set the Guinness record; the previous one belonged to Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko who spoke with the press for 7 hours and 21 minutes.
