A rapid fall of the domestic image of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky is an objective mark given by those disappointed with the government. Viktor Medvedchuk, the Chairman of the Political Council of Opposition Platform - For Life party said so during the visit to Zakarpattya region, westernmost Ukraine.
"It's not a rapid [fall of the image]; it's natural because the new government has been in power for six months now, if we mean the President. The government's been working for two months now, and the Parliament two months as well. And the people assess their activity according to their expectations, which, unfortunately, were not justified - for the most part. Hence, the rapid fall of the image of Mr. Zelensky; in September, it was 17 percent, and now it's 11%", the politician said.
Medvedchuk added that Parliamentary Speaker Dmytro Razumkov loses his image, too; according to him, this is due to "the way the Parliament works, which is a disappointment for many people in Ukraine".
