The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak arrived in Berlin to take part in a meeting of advisers to the leaders of the Norman-format member states. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.
Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Russia Dmitry Kozak also arrived in Berlin on Tuesday morning.
It is noted that the advisers will discuss the implementation of the results of the Paris Summit in 2019 in terms of political settlement of the Donbas conflict.
Consultations have not yet begun. The Security Service of Ukraine stated that it would inform about the results of the meeting after its completion.
"I believe that the short-term goal in our relations with Russia is to reach the principle of peaceful coexistence. As of now, the war is a fact. We must end it and restore Ukraine's territorial integrity. Nonetheless, we understand that Russia's position on Ukraine will not change. Our goal - to find a way for peaceful coexistence," he noted.
