Zelensky urged Russia to stop attacks in Donbas, - press secretary

After the escalation of the conflict, the head of the state said Russia needs to stop attacks in eastern Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky urged the Russian Federation to stop the attacks in Donbas, speaking about the restoration of the control over the militants as Spokesperson of President Yulia Mendel reported.

“The President emphasized once more the position of Ukraine that Russia controls the whole conflict, and it is one more conflict in Donbas,” Mendel explained.

According to her, after the escalation of the conflic, the head of the state urged Russia to stop attacks in eastern Ukraine.

As it was reported, on June 7, Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the artillery attack of the Ukrainian positions in Donbas and said that it means Russia had lost control over the militants.

Earlier a set of events was disrupted because of another violation of ceasefire by Russian illegal formations and occupation administration. Minsk Agreements provided those events on decouplement near Stanitsa Luhanska.
