Zelensky urges Italian PM to invest in Ukraine

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky met Italy’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte at the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Zelensky urged Conte to invest funds in Ukraine as the President’s Office reported.

“Volodymyr Zelensky urged to invest funds in the infrastructure, particularly, the ports, and noted the holding of great privatization in Ukraine,” the message said.

Besides, the Ukrainian leader congratulated Conte on the recent appointment at the post and forming of the new coalition government and invited to visit Ukraine.

On September 23, the UN summit on climate changes has begun in New York.

U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice-President Mike Pence visited the summit.

As we reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in New York to participate in the 74th UN General Assembly.

During the speech at the UNGA, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he will delay the provision of the financial aid to Ukraine.

At the UNGA sidelines, Zelensky met NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. The parties discussed the issue of increasing the level of cooperation in the modernization of the Ukrainian Navy.
