President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the United States for the UN General Assembly session. Vadym Prystaiko, Ukraine's Foreign Minister said so during the press conference of the chief of Ukraine and Moldova's Foreign Ministries.
"As you know, we're going to the U.S." Prystaiko said.
The official also specified that the date of Zelensky's meeting with U.S. leader Donald Trump will be made public soon.
Previously, Trump intended to meet Zelensky in Poland on September 1; however, he canceled the trip due to the approaching Dorian hurricane.
Earlier, Prystaiko mentioned that President Zelensky is ready for a meeting in the Normandy format in September.
