Donbas and Crimea-related questions will be the first to be discussed during the meeting of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the United States Joe Biden. Zelensky himself said so during his visit in Washington; Suspilne quoted him.
According to Zelensky, they are going to talk through investments, too. He added that Biden's support for Ukraine is quite tangible in terms of development of Ukraine's energy system.
Nord Stream will be another vital topic for discussion. "If its construction is over, which everyone is positive about, we will do our best to struggle with the way it's going to work. In case of the functioning Nord Stream 2, we would like to agree on certain things and guarantees from the USA", Zelensky said, implying on new sanctions against Russia.
As is known, the Ukrainian delegation arrived in the U.S. on August 31.
The participation of Joe Biden's administration in possible solution to Donbas conflict will be one of the main topics for discussion during the visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky in the USA. Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's foreign minister reported that as cited by RBC-Ukraine. According to Kuleba, this matter will be up to a discussion. He added that the Ukrainian side wants to get the U.S. involved in solution of the Donbas conflict and de-occupation of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
