After negotiations of Ukrainian and Hungarian Foreign Ministers, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky is supposed to meet Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary. Iryna Vereshchuk, the MP from Servant of the People party said so on air of Channel 24.
"I'll put it like this: the game's already afoot (in Ukraine-Hungary relations, - 112 International). Things shouldn't remain they were before. They are our neighbors, and neighbourhood policy should prevail", Vereshchuk said.
According to her, the goal of the meeting is to remove Ukraine-Hungary misconceptions that are now observed in bilateral relations.
"Although, as the recent events showed, we obtained a special status in the NATO, and Hungarians did not get in our way. It points out that they are ready to cooperate and communicate. It is up to us now, where we're ready to concede, and where are those red lines that we're not ready to cross", the MP said.
