Preparations of the new meeting of the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky would start after London is done with Brexit, as Ukraine’s Ambassador to UK Natalya Galibarenko said on air of Radio Liberty.
“We would certainly like to organize this visit (meeting of Zelensky and Johnson, - ed.) at the appropriate time for both of the sides. We give the UK time to implement Brexit up to October 31, but after that, I think everything will be done to organize a complete bilateral contact between two leaders,” the Ambassador said.
According to her, considering the fact that Johnson has visited Ukraine twice as the Head of British MFA, he knows about the situation in Ukraine, about armed conflict with Russia, and annexation of Crimea.
Therefore, Ukraine can always count on Johnson’s support, as Galibarenko noted.
At the same time, she paid attention to the fact that after elections, Johnson will be focused on the implementation of Brexit.
On July 24 it was reported that former Head of British MFA and ex-Mayor of London Boris Johnson took office as the Prime Minister of the country.
