President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is going to make a speech at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly that is scheduled for September 22-29. This information was confirmed by Zelensky’s press secretary Yulia Mendel, RBC-Ukraine reports.
"Despite the global coronavirus pandemic and the abolition of many events, the UN General Assembly will be held online. In particular, the UN has prepared a preliminary table of speeches by heads of states and governments at the general debate of the 75th session of the General Assembly on September 22-29. The speech of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled for September 23, it will take place in the afternoon," she said.
As we reported earlier, the Normandy format meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs may take place in September this year.
"I am grateful to German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and French colleague Jean-Yves Le Drian, who supported my proposal to soon hold a Normandy format meeting of foreign ministers. We must use the positive momentum to move towards the Berlin summit," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
