President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen held a telephone conversation: over its course, Zelensky thanked the Austrian government for its efforts to help Ukrainians who experienced difficulties with evacuation. The parties expressed satisfaction with the coordination of actions of both states in the issues related to the mutual evacuation of citizens.
In particular, the humanitarian transit of Ukrainians from other European countries by road and the extension of their legal stay in Austria without the application of penalties were highly noted.
During the conversation, Zelensky informed Alexander Van der Bellen about the development of the situation in Donbas, noting Austria's continued support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
As we reported earlier, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani offered to provide Ukraine with humanitarian aid in the form of medical supplies that are needed to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
