As part of a two-day working visit to Germany, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The press secretary of the Ukrainian president Serhiy Nikiforov announced that on Ukraine 24 TV channel.
According to Nikiforov, the presidents discussed the situation with the pandemic, vaccination, and reforms in Ukraine.
"The president was particularly interested in such a reform as de-oligarchization. He expressed hope that it would make the Ukrainian investment climate more transparent, more attractive to German companies, and this would lead to a greater flow of investment to Ukraine," a spokesman said.
As it was reported earlier, on July 11, Zelensky arrived with a two-day working visit to Germany. It was also reported that there he would meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel and Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Among the issue raised during the visit are the damage to Ukraine and other European countries from the launch of Nord Stream 2, the strengthening of Germany's role in the Normandy Format talks, and in establishing peace in Donbas.
