Canada is ready to pass Ukraine weaponry and combat vehicles. Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine said this after the meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau; the two officials negotiated within Zelensky's working visit to Canada. Interfax news agency reported this on early July 3.
"A principal decision was made about the opportunity of supplying defensive weapons and modern combat vehicles", he said as quoted.
Earlier, Zelensky met with Canadian Foreign Minister Christine Freeland. He also joined the session of the international conference for supporting reforms in Ukraine. Besides, he met with the Ukrainian diaspora representatives. His visit ends on July 3.
On July 1, the head of the Ukrainian state congratulated Canadians on the national holiday, the Canada Day, and thanked this country's government for support of Ukraine.
