We  recall, on July 11, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VIII convocation after 16 unsuccessful votes adopted the draft new Electoral Code, which provides for the right of the voter to influence the candidate’s place on the party’s list and leaves the passing barrier at 5% level.

On September 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky vetoed a new Electoral Code by submitting his proposals to the bill.

Earlier Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 157-IX on the lease of state and communal property.

This law introduces a simple and transparent procedure for leasing state and municipal property on terms of the free competition.

The document sets out in a new edition of the law of Ukraine "On the lease of state and communal property", and also makes changes to the Commercial and Civil Codes, the Bankruptcy Code of Ukraine and a number of laws, defining legal, economic and organizational relations related to the transfer of property for rent.

According to the law, leasing of state and municipal property will be carried out by selling the right to lease property at an electronic auction in an electronic trading system.
